Its been close to twenty years since I first tried to use e-mail (a variation of Pine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I created my first webpage as an experiment at the University of Georgia in 1995. I created the first version of my personal website in 1998. It has since been transferred to its fourth web location where it can be found as Animated Divots.
So now I'm creating a blog (when I really want to create a wiki ....). Since this is part of an exercise at my job to introduce me (and the rest of the staff) to Web2.0 technology I've decided to do something rather random with it. I will be using it for ridiculous comments on the state of animation (how long until the craze for all cgi go away for theatrical films in the United States?), scitech information (will Open Access eventually kill some of the commercial publishers?), Formula 1 racing (wouldn't you like to place a bug in a McClaren team meeting?), and anything else that I think will help with an Internet user's insomnia.
